When can I start eating dairy again?
So I’ve been breastfeeding since my baby was born a little over two months ago. About a month ago my baby started getting super gassy and spitting up a lot. His pediatrician recommended I try to stop dairy products if possible. So I have mostly stopped eating dairy and it has helped a lot. I can definitely tell the difference in how gassy he is on the days I slip up and eat dairy and the other days. The doctor mentioned that as his digestive system matured I may go be able to go back to eating dairy without as much of an issue. I have read this happens around four to six months. For those of you who have also given up dairy while breastfeeding, when did you start eating dairy again? When you were done breastfeeding? Or were you able to add it back in at some point and it bothered baby less?
