Would it be wrong to take this to higher ups?
I work at a daycare and in my state we are supposed to be getting grant checks every 3 to 4 months. Basically your employer applies and then when they get the funds they’re supposed to send it out to eligible employment within 30 days of receiving their funds. So according to the schedule, the school should’ve received the money by now since we should’ve gotten it this week. Other schools in the area received their funds and have already paid their employees. My boss told me and other co workers of mine that they haven’t received any funding despite telling us all that we would be getting these checks this month more specifically this Friday. This potentially means that we will not be receiving anything. Would it be wrong to complain to higher ups regarding not only this miscommunication but many others that have involved the children, certain employees being rude to others, and people not following DHR guidelines?
