Would you file for divorce because of a controlling mother in law and a neutral husband?

Has anyone ever filed for a divorce because of immense unhappiness caused by a controlling mother in law and a husband who remains neutral in all of it? I would like to hear your experience because I am more thinking about it and I am fed up feeling like I married my MIL too. With time my husband has become disrespectful and contemptuous towards me just like his mother is. I have a toddler and currently 36 weeks pregnant and I am lost. I am living abroad with him with no family, or friends nearby.
