What is a relationship with no title ?

I’m kind of slow here because I’m confused what does a relationship with no titles means when a man says it ? I want to be with this man we have 2 kids together been on and off for 6 years in I think it’s coming to an end our kids are so little ages 2year old and A 5 months old so this is gonna break all of our hearts smh 🤦🏾‍♀️

It means he’s not willing to commit. He doesn’t want to call you a girlfriend, a wife, or even FWB (probably because either he knows you won’t go along with that one, or doesn’t want to seem like a dick)… ￼he wants everything from you that you would give to a person you’re in a relationship with, without any degree of commitment that comes along with being in a relationship. I’m so sorry 😢 if I were in your shoes, I would tell him that’s not good enough for you. Either he commits to a relationship with you or you are single. There’s no in between.￼ Tell him that you want a real committed relationship, and if he can’t give that to you, you need to let go so you can go￼ find what you’re looking for.￼

I want to say this in the most respectful way possible! But why would he define y’all relationship when you’ve already given the greatest gist a “wife” is suppose to give a man? You’ve surrendered your womb to him so from his perspective it’s like that saying “why but the cow if you can milk it for free?”

Unacceptable is what I’d call it.
You have 2 kids together - both they and you, deserve to have a committed man in your lives.  If you want commitment, anything less is a disservice to all 3 of you.
Will this mean you lose him from your life and possibly the life of your kids?  Yes and that sucks.  And it hurts.  They are young enough that now is the time - they won’t really have any memories and in their world you’ll just always be separated.  The 5yo may have some, but not nearly as much as later.  It will spare them from the full angst of the actual separation if it were when they were older.
But will you be better off being free to find someone who is capable and enthusiastic of giving you what you want?  Yes!!
It’s important for kids to grow up seeing their parents happy and loved.  I know several kids who are so much happier with separated parents than when they were together.
You are strong and brave and you got this!!
