Can somebody explain?

I'm sorry to bother you but I've been looking all over the internet, can seem to fond an answer.

How does our cycle work after birth, before our period comes back?

I gave birth 5 months ago, I'm breastfeeding. I know it's possible to get pregnant even without my period being back.

What I wanna know is how?

How does it work?

Are we ovulating even without a period?

How does our cycle work during this special time (between birth and period being back)?
