23 weeks, weird movement

I am about 23 weeks today and some days I have a lot of movement and other days, I do not.

Anyways, what I’m asking about today: has anyone else felt kicks from the outside but not the inside. There have been a few times this week where I’ll feel kicks really high up, like right below my ribs, but I will feel them on my arm that’s resting on my belly. Like I’ll feel a pulse. Or if I put my had on my stomach I’ll feel it but I don’t feel it internally unless it is further down. Is that normal? I’m just seeing if it is baby or if it is something else.
