I have been talking to this guy for 2 months 
We haven’t met yet
He just told me he told his roommate about me 
He said 
you're pretty amazing and I've been over the fucking moon talking to you. He was shocked when I told him you had kids because I didn't want to date people with kids but goddamn, you're certainly an exception you’re hot and great to talk too 
Oh I didn’t know he didn’t want someone with kids attached 
Idk why I feel bothered but I do lol 
Would you keep talking to him if it were you?

People can change their minds about the kids thing. I think a lot of people who don’t have kids start by saying “I don’t want to date someone with kids” and then they meet the right person and suddenly it’s not a big deal if they have kids. HOWEVER by the comments from this guy it does kind of seem like he may just want sex. “You’re hot and great to talk to” wouldn’t really seal the deal for me.

I have a friend who never wanted to get married or have children. Then he met someone he was actually compatible with and he changed his entire outlook. Some guys are nervous about dating someone with kids and I think it’s too soon to tell the overall picture.
