New job, bf, vacation

I may take this new opportunity, it’s a full time job and finally I feel good about something. I would ofc have to give my current job two weeks and then i’d like a week off before I start so i’d prob start in March. my bf wants to go to italy with me, but the best times for him with his job is april or december. december he wants to save for a vacation w his family. so he wants to go in april. I feel really overwhelmed by this, id just be starting my first official full time job and im a nurse so uk how staffing is. it isn’t even planned yet so we could explore other avenues but when I told my bf this he was like this is the best time for me and we should just do it. he says he went away with me a month into starting his current job…. but the thing is that vacation WAS already planned. our italy trip isn’t booked, so it’s avoidable to push it back a little. I just feel like my life isn’t really taken into account on this. idk about going to italy in a few months, I just don’t want to start a job off on the wrong foot. my bf is already established. im not. please help.

I can compromise doing a vacation in may/june. I just hope he doesn’t get mad at me.
