Would it be weird to hire my employers for my future wedding? *read details
I work in the wedding industry for a guest portraiture studio. We pose and photograph guests in a highly editorial, timeless B&W style. Guests get to take home their printed photograph before the night is over and the bride and groom also receive the digitals. It’s so much fun and I would absolutely love to have this featured at my future wedding!
My bf and I are looking at getting married in 2025, and being in the industry, I’m already gathering ideas. There isn’t really an alternative studio to hire for this in my area. I’m fairly close with my employers and I feel like they would be fine either way and may even end up offering their services as a gift, but that’s not for certain. So, would it be appropriate to hire my employers (the studio) for my wedding, or scrap the idea and invite my employers as guests?
