Are you a registered organ donor?

I'm mostly just interested in the percentages but feel free to post about your reasonings or opinions on organ donation in the comments.

Yes I’m registered to donate my organs. If I’m found ineligible I hope to donate my body to science. I just want my body to be useful when I’m done with it.

I didn't use to be simply because I hadn't thought about doing it but I'm glad I wasn't automatically with an option to opt out as it turns out that I have a blood disorder and it could be detrimental to others of they got my organs/blood. I didn't know about my blood disorder until I was about 26/27. We were doing blood work to find out why I've had multiple miscarriages and a few things came back but one of the most concerning parts was the blood disorder that causes my blood to clot (and sometimes thins). After that I had 3 different doctors tell me to immediately make sure I am not listed as a donor

I don’t need my organs after I die, but for someone else my organ may be the difference between life and death. At one point my mom was facing needing a kidney transplant but the waiting list was long. Thankfully she got better with dialysis and lifestyle changes because who knows how long it would have taken her to get a kidney otherwise.

Not sure anyone would want my organs but yes, I'm going to try donating my organs. It's of no use to me once I'm dead so 🤷🏽‍♀️ The remainder will be cremated IF i can't do the mushroom suit or tree pod

I was but no longer can. I developed a blood disorder, which makes me medically ineligible to be an organ donor. I also used to donate blood multiple times per year, and I can no longer do that (at one point I was getting blood products weekly so I know the true value of donating!).

I am. It's not like I'll be needing any of those organs anymore. My husband isn't because it freaks him out and he believes his body should stay intact until he's tossed in the incinerator. I'll be tossed in too, but I'd much rather be a tree pod. Unfortunately it's not widely available yet.

No, I'm not. In my religion we don't donate organs after death. You want to do things while you're alive? Go ahead as long as you're not compromising your own health and wellbeing.
