How do I stop spam?

This is just this morning. A caller from Kentucky keeps calling me about buying health insurance. I block the number but then they call back with a different one. They won’t stop. It’s every day. Can I contact my service provider? I have Verizon.

It's not really someone in Kentucky trying to sell you insurance, it's someone overseas trying to scam your information out of you. Unfortunately I get them all the time too and thus far haven't found a solution other than blocking the numbers. I want to say Verizon has a spam call service you can pay for, but I'm not sure. It can't hurt to call and ask.

You can't. They're spoofing someone else's number. The actual owner of that number has no idea what is happening. You just ignore them.

I had one like this who was constantly calling me to try to "sell" me insurance. I finally picked up the phone and they said, "hi, I'm calling about your car insurance." I said "yeah what about it" and he started asking me questions about my car and my car insurance and I said "well if you are calling me about my car insurance, then you should know all about it. You tell me!" We just kept going on and on like that until he got so frustrated. He hung up on me and never called back. Lol. ￼

I get this every single day in Australia. They’re not even real numbers. They use like scam numbers and they’re always calling from overseas. I ended up changing my number as our phone company got hacked and it was ridiculous. All of our details got released so now I’m constantly spammed again. Apparently Apple brought out some new feature for spam detection, but I’m yet to see the setting or anything on an update. ￼
