L-Theanine and Mental PMS
So when I turned around 17 I started getting really bad anxiety and mental side effects from my period. I'm 20 now and still will get pushed to the point where before my period I get panic attacks and just have to lie in bed and sleep for three hours. I'm an introvert and need my alone time, but these things usually only happen when I'm alone. I'd say the solution is just to be with people the whole time I'm PMSing but that also makes me SUPER anxious and makes me feel suffocated. I don't think I need to take any medication for this - I certainly don't want to. But I had an aunt who had similar problems and recommended I try L-Theanine. I'm not sure if it actually works on me or is a placebo effect. But I just wanted to see if anyone else had really bad mental PMS symptoms and what they do to cope? Be it supplements or what. I just don't want to bother people about this every month! I feel insane. I go from crying to loving to hating in twenty minutes and it happens all throughout the day for a week!
