How soon can it be when the pregnancy test shows positive?

I have systems of pregnancy but test showed negative, cycle should be in a week is it still to soon to be a positive test?

it depends really with my first miscarriage i took a crappy dollar store test and it came up negative but an hour later i wasn't feeling right, I felt like my body was telling me something is going on here, so I got a better test (think it was clear blue) and it came up positive. & it was a day before my period. & I still got my period the whole 3 months i was pregnant before i miscarried.
