Spotting brown ? Help?

So I was supposed to start me period October 9th I never did but today in the morning when I wiped I had brown spotting.. And I thought it was my period but nothing yet.. Has anyone ever  had this problem before ?

For 6 months I had the same spotting before My period. Then the period started as normally. Maybe it's a hormonal change.

Hi Vero,
​This happens to me almost every cycle. It's your body shedding old blood that, for some reason or another, didnt exit during the last period. It's quite common from what my doctor told me. Your actual period should follow in the next few days.

Yeah it's happened to me before and when it does I end up getting my period late. I'm not sure why it happens though but when you're TTC it's a real let down.
