Using Visanne?

Hey ladies! Long story short, a few years ago I had a diagnostic laparoscopy and the gyno told me that I likely had adenomyosis and put me of birth control. Fast forward three years, I'm having constant, intense pelvic pain on the interior of both hip bones, severe back pain, worse during my period, yada yada. After fighting with my regular doctor, I insisted on seeing a gyno. 15 minutes after walking into the office, I left with the knowledge that this sounded like ends pain and a prescription for Visanne. I've read some pretty nasty thing ha about this medication, and I'm just looking to hear from someone who has been taking it. What's your experience? Any side effects?
