Tubal ligation reversal?

I had my tubes tied almost 10 years ago. Recently remarried, and my husband and I want to conceive. We're weighing the options between having my tubes reversed or doing IVF?  My question is: has anyone had their tubes reversed and gotten pregnant soon after?

I personally would rather have a reversal because u can try over and over for a baby. But with IVF u only get that one chance and it cost money every time u do IVF. I just had my reversal done a month ago so I haven't got pregnant yet, but the doctors say with in 6 months

I had a tubal reversal lat year. Dr. Bernard Rosenfeld in Houston Texas. Unfortunately still no baby buy trying all the time. Besides being disappointed every time I get a negative result...i feel fine and feel like I'm back to being a complete woman :) I have decided to leave it in God's hands and he will bless us with a little angel soon. Oh...my friend and I both had our tubes tied by the same doctor and had the reversal by Dr. Rosenfeld and now her baby is 6 months...so I have faith and hope...i hope everyone gets blessed and enjoy the baby dance...i know that's the fun part.  ;-)

I had a reversal in March and still trying. I am happy with the choice to do a reversal instead of IVF. It was cheaper and we want two so it just made sense for us.

I had my tubal reversal done in August and was able to start TC after my cycle.  I thought about IVF, and then weighed all the options and the reversal was cheaper, and you don't have to take all the hormones and give yourself shots. My husband ended up really wanting the reversal after we found out that the dr that tied my tubes had used the filchie clips, we started researching them and found lots of bad things about them.  Honestly the best thing to do is research both ways, and then find a dr that specializes in both and let them give you their opinion, depending on the way your tubes were tied will also tell you which option is better for you

I had my reversal a month ago and haven't been able to start trying yet bit planning to start in November!!! I think is the best and cheapest way to go!!!
