So I'm in highschool and I've been dating my first boyfriend for 8 months. Everything's great-- we get along perfectly, we've only had one minor argument since we've been together, he's very respectful and just a great guy to talk to in general. However, I feel like the passion in our relationship has died down. Before, every time he kissed me/touched me/ said something cute I would get goose bumps and tingle.....but now, I've just gotten so used to it. I feel like we're stuck in this routine and I'm starting to get bored. I feel like we say "I love you" to each other out of ritual, not because we actually feel it in the moment. Like don't get me wrong, I do love my boyfriend, I just feel like I'm starting to love him more as a friend rather than SO. Our "spark" is gone and I'm wondering if there's any ways to get it back? Sex is out of the question.
