I have always had bad cramps ?

I've always had horrible cramps, so bad I couldn't move or go anywhere. Midol is the only thing that works, including using a heating pad and being under covers.

Everyone says to take the pin pills before it comes, my period is 6 days away. How soon should I start taking the pain meds?

Mine are so bad I take vicoden. :/

Have you been to your OB/GYN or doctor? Sounds to me like you could have endometriosis.  Very painful cramps are common with it. I had it when I was in my late teens.
