Jesus created marriage and defined it as being between a man and a woman. Because He created it, he is the only one who gets to say what it should be. As far as "being born that way." We were all born sinners. God never said we won't live with temptations- even after we are saved. Homosexuality is not of God. Yes, the Bible teaches us to love one another. But do not twist and pervert that- it is not in a sexual way. The book of Kohn says "Love one another just as O have loved you." (Jesus spoke those words.) It means to care for one another and to put others before yourself. It is not a sexual love.

It isnt a sin to BE homosexual. It is a sin to ACT on homosexual tendencies. You do not choose who you love, but you can choose HOW you love. There is a really amazing video on youtube by a well known Catholic youth speaker named Chris Stefanik about how they are called to love in a different way than heterosexuals are.

Personally, I think it is not our place to judge them even if you dont agree with their lifestyle. I have some really good friends who are homosexual, I don't agree with their life style; but it's not my place to condem them for it. As it says on the Bible: "you who is without sin cast the first stone." Just my opinion. ☺️

We had a reaching out to the community function at my church a few years back and a homosexual man asked if he could attend. The woman who was talking to him said of course as long as he didn't desplay it at church. He said of course. She asked him (not being mean or judgmental) why he went to church or read the bible (something along those lines) when it condemns his life style. He said everyone sins every day this just is mine. It just blew my mind. I will never understand someone condemning another person for being homosexual we can love the sinner and not the sin.

I'd say it doesn't matter. Any sin is of the devil, but forgiveness is always of God. It is not our business how others sin unless they ask it to be. If you are the one trying to decide if what you feel or are doing is sinful, you simply need to pray about it. Pray, pray, and pray some more. Ultimately it is your decision and your soul. We will all know the truth and how our chouces or beliefs impacted us when we die and stand before Jesus Christ.

Assuming that you believe homosexuality is in fact a sin. Which I do; however I know many people who choose that lifestyle. I still love them but do not agree with their lifestyle anymore than I agree with people who lie, cheat, or steal.
The poll states against the Bible. No one sins against the Bible. You can sin against God because He's perfect. But He's already forgiven everyone who loves someone of the same sex. So, why bother arguing about it? God perfectly designed the penis and the vagina, but people in our broken world skewed our opinions of the spirituality of a sex. To think that God is so petty, He's just waiting on His throne to smite "the gays" is ludicrous. God loves everyone and always has DESPITE sexual orientation. Pretty sure this one didn't catch Him off guard.
Regardless of what anybody takes the Bible to say or not, it DOES say that God is love. Love is the grace odf God, and what brought me to God finally nearly a year ago. And if God decided to bless me with love from women too, then thats just the way that He made me, and He does not make mistakes.

Thank you Maggie. 90% of everyone you hear talk about it are such hypocrites. It wouldnt bother me even half so much if those that are outspoken about it were equally as outspoken of literally any other sins.

Michelle, I agree most Christians are quick to point out homosexuality but continue to lose their temper, lie, or lust. Personally, I call them out on it. First how can your life be a testimony if you have such a hateful attitude?? Second, I see no benefit in excluding a group of people.

We are born with a sin nature and love of our self and it is not the design that God intended for us. He does not make mistakes WE do. That is why He provided away through Jesus so we would not be separated from Him.
No. God has created all people and he would not create "mistakes". If God intend for two persons of the same sex to fall in love, it is His plan. The bible has been written and rewritten and parts omitted based on politics, not the true word of the Lord. God preaches love for all persons, it is NOT up to any single person to tell another person who they can and cannot love. If we do that, we are directly violating the Lord.
