Tubes in ears

JOJO • Been with my boyfriend for two years. We have a 15 month old daughter. My life is perfect.
My 15 month old daughter has surgery Tuesday to have tubes put in her ears. I'm curious to know how well they work. Has anyone had this done on their kids? If so how well did it work on your kids? I know every kid is different.

My son had it done when he was 1, it helped sooo much!!! Make sure you use the ear plugs though so he doesn't get water in his ears ;)

These are called pressure equalizer tubes. They're putt in when the tube in our middle ear, which connects the outside of our body to the inside of our body, doesn't function right. When this happens fluids in the ear don't drain properly and kiddos get painful ear infections. Little ones are more prone to this than adults because the angle of their ears are different. Overall this is an easy and common procedure that will significantly decrease your little one's chance of getting a painful ear infection and keep him feeling healthy ?
