Doing things together

My husband and I have been together going on 11 years.  We have nothing in common. Everytime i ask him to do something with me he gets an attitude, but does it but it's the little things that sets him off for instance i asked him to go shopping he goes but doesn't like it so he cops an attitude and we end up arguing through the whole shopping day.  Okay now he plans something with his friends and I go but I just sit there and he laughs and has a ball because with his friends why can't he laugh like that with me?  He even winks at me and says he loves me in front of them but im still furious over the whole shopping trip I want to knock him out of his chair.  How can I get him to spend time with me and he not start an argument I think he is being very selfish and im super tired of it
