Anyone ever try and Lose weight while pregnant?

I didn't try to lose weight but I tried not to gain weight. I was told by my OB not to gain any weight during my pregnancy. I ended up gaining 8 lbs.

I didn't try but I didn't just eat everything I wanted (well sometimes i did due to serious chocolate addiction )ever as only wanted to gain baby weight not actual weight. I lost 3 lbs in the first trimester through morning sickness then gained 18 lbs throughout the pregnancy.  I lost all of it within the first two weeks of having my daughter x

I counted calories. Eating 1700 to 1800 calories daily I lost 18lbs. After the hcg plateaus it's not as easy.
