What do you do with your toddler when you you need to shower??

Question

My daughter is a year and a half, and her sleeping patterns are completely off due to her being sick a few weeks ago.

She is obviously in that active stage, and does not want to take naps anymore. Before I would wake up earlier, or shower when she napped... But now it's become difficult...

I've also tried putting toys in her crib or gated area but she doesn't like being isolated, it's like she can tell I'm trying to leave her to do her thing for a few min lol

I bring toys in the shower... I fill cups with bubble bath and let her scrub her dolls and toys. Like it's a game. I also had a fisher price booster seat with tray... Id bring her in, buckle her in and prop it next to the wall (no tipping over)... I'd give her a bucket of things she only got when I was in the shower. Coloring, crayons, stickers, matchbox cars. She'd do that happily.

Usually I take a shower during naps, or after I put her to bed just so that I can enjoy the water and shave above the knee. My daughter is two, and hyper I get where you're coming from. If she doesn't nap then when daddy comes home for lunch I let him watch her while I shower.

We co bath and co shower! She loves it. Or if I need to shave I use our extra wide baby gate against the door frame and sink cabinet to keep her away from the ever enticing toilet.

I did this when I was a baby. Even if I was sleeping I knew my mom had left the room. She would bring the high chair in the bathroom.

Have a play pin with toys and a bottle (optional) and a blanket right by the shower so you can always check on them.

When my daughter was that age I would just let her play in the bathroom when I was showering. She just liked to stick her hands in the water and I was fine with that
