Hmmm, my answer would be both. I think if someone is too similar it would be annoying and if too different it would be difficult. My hubby and I are about to celebrate 17 happy years together (11 married) and we have a lot of the same values and views, but his personality is totally different than mine. I think it works out well ;)

I believe opposites attract but sooner or later a lot of the things you guys like will be the same because as humans we love ourselves more than anything else. If things are too opposite we have a tendency to get ride of it. Me and my boyfriend are alike in a lot of ways like morals values different things like that but are different on like our habits.
