Labia surgery?

I saw a documentry on some women who had labia surgery. I dont want to be judgemental but I am so confused as to why anyone would do this. Has anyone gotten theirs done? What are some opinions?

People will do this when they aren't comfortable with the way they look. Just because so many say 'be comfortable in your own skin!!' Doesn't mean we are. And if you just so happen to have the extra money, do what makes you happy. If it's a boob job, tummy tuck, or anything other feature, just make yourself happy.

If I could get it, I would. I have had a weird complex with mine since I hit puberty. Before I saw another one and before anyone saw mine. It makes me feel unattractive.

Because there is increasing pressure to have a vulva and Labia that looks a certain way. Dubbed "porn star vagina", it can be compared to how men and women think a penis should be circumsized for esthetic reasons.

Because people think they need to have "porn star" vulva, and are usually made to feel their parts are unattractive naturally. In some cases there is actually a medical reason though, such as tearing or chaffing.
