Sore breasts at night

For the past 4 weeks...I have had very sore breasts at night.Im not sure what's going on.I was put on Microgestin BC and noticed it started happening afterwards.I read taking this med can cause alot of breast pain.I algo got put on Metformin.Im not trying to get pregnant yet...just regulating cycles.I have since stopped taking birth control and only take metformin.Today my breats hurt more than ever.They feel like they want to fall off.Have any you of experienced this?Does Metformin make you have this terrible soreness?What are your thaughts?
