Would you be mad if your fiancé was trying to start conversations with other woman? This is the second time and last time his excuse was "I was trying to see if it was a real person or not" okay but why? So what if it was? I've been trying to build trust but he keeps making me take steps back.

I think an appropriate response would be, "Do I know you?", instead of asking how she was. She stated she wanted to start a dialogue and he reciprocated. It is up to you to set boundaries, but it is his choice to respect them or not. If something upsets you, within reason, you have a right to ask that he not do that again, and if he doesn't respect that then move on. I was with someone for 10 years who constantly disrespected my feelings, and in the end I realized I should have stood up for myself and trusted my instincts. Always trust your instincts, and don't be afraid to set boundaries for yourself. Only you know what makes you uncomfortable.

This looks like one of those spam emails from women.. It is fishy that he replied that way but if he's a friendly guy then he probably didn't mean anything by it.

That would make me suspicious but I have also been cheated on by every guy  except my ex-fiance, passed away in a motorcycle accident, and my husband.

I definitely wouldn't be happy about it. But it's really up to you and your judgement. If he does things like this often that really make you question him being trust worthy .. Def something to think about, you shouldn't have to worry about him. Good luck!
