We met when I was 16 he was 18 so not quite high school sweethearts but close enough. He chased me for 6 months lol we moved in together 3 months after we started dating and are coming up on 10 years now,  married for 2.5. He's my soul mate and best friend, the only one I can truly be me with. Plus he is an amazing dad to our daughter which makes me love him more.

We're quite a few of those lol..we met when I was 13 or 14 yrs old and he was kinda sorta my best guy friend. But because he's 9yrs older than me, he was the main one I ran to when I needed advice, and he confided in me as well. I've known since I met the family that we'd be connected for life, I just didn't know how. Any boyfriends I had, they had to be liked by my guy friend (& his two brothers) or it wouldn't likely work out..that's how close we all were. My guy friend and I could go years without talking and pick right up where we left off..one year, I noticed I'd had feelings for him and was very confused. I was terrified of making a move..what if I was wrong and lost my closest friend? But what if I was right.. Finally I told him how I felt then we took about a year testing things out and finally made ourselves official (plus I had two kids, I didn't want to rush things for them either.) Now, three years later (I think lol 🙈) we're waiting on the last few days until our first baby is here and are also planning on where to get married ❤
