Period after d&c?

I had a d&c on June 24th, it has been four weeks and I am anxiously waiting for my period to start. If you have been through this how long did it take for you to start your menstrual cycle again? I feel like I'm stressing myself out waiting for it to come and hats why it hasn't lol! I'm trying really hard to be calm, really hard! Any feedback is welcome.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I just got mine at 5 weeks post d&c. My Dr. said they usually come 4-6 weeks after and sometimes you'll get a light "fake" period (brown spotting, cramping, sort of stringy) and the real thing a couple weeks after that. That's how mine started, with the fake period, then a pretty heavy period for 9 days. I'm finally starting to feel normal again! Here's to rainbow babies for us all next :)

I'm sorry for your loss 😔 I had a d&c and got my period 5 weeks later. It was VERY HEAVY and painful. But that doesn't happen to everyone. Just wanted to give u a heads up. What happened me was my heating pad and ice cream ☺️
