Mother/daughter conflict putting relationship at risk

Good evening! In the spring of 2014, I got together with a young man whom I have NO doubt is my soul mate. (Trust me, when you know, you just know.) He had just moved down to my hometown of Nashville from Ohio, since he is very musically gifted and wanted to be closer to the music scene. We hit it off right away, and resumed seeing each other all the way through December, before he had to make the very difficult decision to move back home because he was having trouble supporting himself financially.

We're still together, and we make time for Skype and phone calls very regularly, but visits are CRUCIAL and very very important to maintain a healthy, long distance relationship. We are both currently in college, and both are on track to graduate. Afterwards, we want to get together and move in with each other in Virginia, and start a life there. (He loves the mountains and wants to grow our own food.) SO, he is about to have some time off work and he wants to pick me up at the Cleveland airport so I can meet his family and spend a couple days with him. It's been so long since I've kissed him, I'm so ready to just finally be in his arms again! My mom, however, is not on board. I am about to book my flight, and I told her my plan, and she absolutely vetoed. Wouldn't even listen to me past my saying "I'm flying to Cleveland to see Mason." She just immediately decided that it's not happening. Even though I'm an adult with my own money and transportation, I still live with her and plan on doing so while I'm in college. She has met my boyfriend multiple times and thinks highly of him, but doesn't want me going to visit him. This makes absolutely NO sense to me, and it angers me quite a bit. I'm considering just going anyways, but I don't want her to kick me out just because she's (most likely gonna be) mad about it. But this is SO important to my relationship, visits like this are what help keep us going, because long distance relationships are very hard. Any input would be appreciated, thank you in advance.
