After seeing things like masterchef junior and his own shows where he's calm and happy and such, I have come to my opinion that he's a generally happy guy and that the guy you see screaming at people is just something to make people watch the shows more.

Well of course he isn't going to yell at the kids. They're learning. They're new to the whole environment. The adults on the other hand, should KNOW those things. I'd be frustrated as hell too if I went into a high dollar/class restaurant ran poorly.

I think he's a hard ass in the kitchen, like what we see on Hell's Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares, because he has high expectations seeing as these people are supposed to be "professionals ". Other than that, I think he's a pretty nice, approachable guy.

Well if you're referring to kitchen nightmares, well I'm glad he gets so angry. The mistakes people were making in those restaurants that asked him for help were deadly. Like cooking and serving rotten food. Yeah no thanks. I actually pay more attention to my surroundings in a restaurant now thanks to him and know the proper questions to ask the staff.

When it comes to hells kitchen and Master chef he yells because he has high standards. These people are competing for a job at one of his restaurants so obviously they have to match his quality. I'm not saying I'd be okay with being yelled at but I admire him and would love to eat in one of his places!!

Omg i just watched Hell's kitchen 😂😂😂 i think he has standards and expectations when it comes to cooking. I think he acts the way he does because it can toughen people up. I prefer him that way.
