Nature or Nurture? Hmmm...

nurture? Hmmm..." /> So! There's a long going debate about human beings; if we would be who we are based off of genetics(without being taught) OR if would be different if we were taught. Basically! If our paths were predestined or if we change the paths through the way we were raised.

Question: Do you think Adolf Hitler was raised to be Anti-Semitic? Or Do you think it was already set in his path? Explain please.

Nature and nurture work together. I think you would find very few things that are completely one or the other. It's almost always both.

I think it's a complex interaction of both nature and nurture. Twin studies are too compelling to make me believe it's upbringing alone, but I also don't believe our base genetics dictate who or what we will become.

As for Hitler specifically, I think if it wasn't anti-Semitism specifically, he would have used whoever or whatever he could to advance his agenda. I also think it's possible some people, like him, are born without what I'll call, for lack of a better term, a soul.

I always believed in Nurture until I raised 2 stepchildren who are so much like their biological mother with never being in her presence.
