Any tricks on how to get insuraces to pay for fertility treatments???

So I just got insurance Hmo.. anyone with any experience or trics on how to get things covred.?

It's a shame that all fertility treatments are not covered by insurance companies. People want a kid or two, fertility issue is a medical condition to me, it's not like cosmetic surgery! I hate this system!

You can't. Fertility treatment isn't covered any way you slice or dice it 😓. Otherwise everyone on here would be going to see a fertility doctor tomorrow.

If you see an in-network doctor, it is possible that office visits and diagnostic tests will be covered. Prescriptions, eh, maybe covered but at the "you pay 25% of the total full cost."  Very few, especially not an hmo, will cover procedures to get you pregnant like iui or ivf. And, yeah... What they said... Tricking = fraud.

I think it's blue cross blue shield that covers infertility. It's not 100% coverage but it is a pretty significant amount!

Ok so I get it trick is" fraud"...but im pretty sure there's people out there  asking for certain blood test, diagnostic procedures and even meds   fertility related or not ..who  are getting them  by  either a friend doctor or by finding an alternative and getting things covered..  by tricking or "fraud"...loop's within the insurance.
And I belive if we are paying for insurance  we deserve to have things covered . I agree with the girls that belive this should be something that should be included in our coverage. . We are not getting free health care. Soo..I think that would be only fair. 
And if I posted this is because face it more than one person out there was wondering the same thing..but I just happen to have the balls to post it... so for anyone out there wondering the same thing or close too...there you go...  :)
