Cyclogest (progesterone) discontinued

Yesterday my doctor told me that I had a missed MC.. So he ordered me to stop using cyclogest and just wait for the bleeding to start. Maybe how many days will I have to wait for it to happen? He also gave me an appointment after a week to check by ultrasound if the baby really stopped growing...then they will decide if they will do D&C to me. I am really confused on everything.. -6w angel
