Selling your child's fundraiser via social media

I personally feel like the point of a school or sports fundraiser is for the child to get out there and sell his/her candy bars or cookies or whatever. I feel like it should be the child doing the majority of the work whether it be calling grandma or going door to door (with mom and dad if the child is young). I think parents can bring the fundraiser to work to help their child but it shouldn't rest on the parents to do the work.

Lately, I've been seeing a ton of parents selling their child's fundraisers on Facebook because their child doesn't want to go door to door. Do you think this is right?
