Pregnant not pregnant??

Question

Has anyone sworn they are pregnant, whether it be symptoms or just a feeling and it turned out you weren't?? Tell me your stories! (I haven't tested yet but I truly feel like I am, feelings and symptoms combined!)

I have been trying to be optomistic and always have postive thoughts (which can be hard) especially when you get your hopes up only to be let down. In July I thought I was, I had not a single AF symptom (im one to always get them) and AF was a couple days late and then all the sudden AF magically decided to grace me with her presence! Your mind will do crazy things and ever since ee started trying ive noticed different symptoms here and there, but still no bfp yet.

We have been trying for almost two years. I'm always hopeful, but I've had two times when I was sure that we were pregnant and I was wrong both times. The first time was after about 6 months or so and my period was 2 weeks late. I'm irregular anyway, but I got my hopes up anyway. I decided that I would buy a test the next day and then started my period the next morning. I was disappointed.

The most recent time was a few months ago. I was late and I was sure that it was finally time. I took a test and it was a big ol' negative. I was totally crushed. It's horrible to think you're pregnant and find out that you aren't.

We had been trying for about 6 months at the time, and it was when I started doing more research since we hit the 6 month mark. I read anything I could find, and every twitch or burp etc... I attributed to early pregnancy. So naturally I thought I was pregnant, so waited until the day af was supposed to show to test. Kept getting bfn after bfn. So I called my doctor to have a blood test done, which also came back negative. I had an appointment with my gyn that month so I waited it out. The day of my appointment I got af finally. I skipped almost an entire month because I was always on Google and symptom spotting so hard that I had a pseudo pregnancy. Learned my lesson real quick on not symptom spotting. It just sucks because I just 'knew' I was pregnant, something was different etc... So now I can't trust my intuition with TTC. 🍀 ✨ ✨ ✨
