What to expect?

My first appt is 9/28 what should I expect? Originally I was scheduled for   10/20 but I didn't want to wait til I was 8 weeks along.

Answer

They will have you fill out a health history. You will meet with a social worker who will ask you general knowledge like health history, drug history and crime history. The doctor will have you confirm your pregnancy with a test and will do a sugar test with your urine (you'll do this every time you go). They will do an ultrasound and you will be good to go! You can take you ultrasounds to WIC and DHHR to get any adjustments to your benefits as needed(if you recieve any) I suggest getting WIC because it really does help get you iron which you will really need while pregnant!!!
