Confused?!?

So long story short....this is my second pregnancy and with my first my cervix was short and thin. I was told at 32 weeks my daughter would be born within a week. I was so scared. I received steroid shots for her lungs and was put on bed rest. Now I am 14 weeks prego w my second daughter and they have not checked my cervix at all so far. It concerns me because if I had a incompetent cervix with my first wont I be more likely to have one the second time?? Thanks ladies!!!
