Husbands PTSD
He claims he doesn't have it. Last night the ranch next door had a wedding, there's half a mile of trees, brush, cattle pastures with Bulls ect between where the wedding was and our house, lots of drunks driving up and down the driveway, one even got his truck stuck in the creek, they were pretty rowdy.
I worked late and when I came home my husbands was sound asleep.....all the doors locked a shotgun behind our bedroom door, a shotgun on my side of the bed, a handgun in his night stand ect
I didn't say nothing and went to bed, I woke up this morning to breakfast in bed and he had this sad look on his face...I asked him why the guns were out and he said he wasn't sure, all the noise and yelling kinda sent him him into a panic.
I thought about maybe getting him a support dog for when this happens but he doesn't believe he has PTSD or at least doesn't want to admit it.....maybe not say it's a support dog and day I adopted a dog...idk just throwing ideas around. I've always grown up in homes where guns were sitting around the house, normally to protect the cattle ect so I'm not really rattled by the guns but I can't imagine how it feels to panic over things like that....I feel bad for him and want to help him, I don't like seeing him worried or scared.
