Ultrasound at 33 weeks

I just had an appointment at 29 weeks and my doctor surprised me with another ultrasound for around 33 weeks. She made it seem earlier that my anatomy scan would be my only ultrasound. I think I measured okay and she didn't say it was to check anything specific. Is it routine to check like growth and position and stuff? Just wondering if other ladies have had another routine scan around that time.
