Hyperemesis diagnosis... Any tips??

Have been in the ER 2 times so far for fluids, just got home from being admitted for being severely dehydrated... Lost 20 pounds since pre-pregnancy weight. 17 1/2 weeks. Any tips?? Experiences?? I'm just ready for March so I can have my baby... pregnancy has not been easy.

Something that helped very little was sucking on ice with a little salt sprinkled over it. I'm not sure it's really good for you but my doctor said at that point keeping any fluid was what was important.  The only thing I could drink was orange Gatorade and I had to sip it . And still threw a good bit of it up. Just FYI sodas like sprite and ginger ale made mine worse !

Been there .. I thought I was going to die ! I suffer for three months tried every single home remedie I could find . I was throwing up all day . Dehydrated several times. Lost 30 pounds. Nothing helped finally I gave in and went on zofran.  It helped a lot but still didn't 100% get ride of it. But I could at lest function. I weaned myself off around 28 weeks I think ? I still at 32 weeks have bad days but not as often.

Oh girl I am right here with U! I'm currently 31w5d and still take meds for nausia. I had 17 hospitalization before 20 weeks... What meds are U on? Diclectin didn't work for me so I am currently on Zofran... Yes I am still taking it and it's helping a lot. Best of luck!
