Head down?

How can you tell if your baby is head down? I've been feeling a lot of pressures down there and in my butt too.. I'm 37 weeks so hoping she's head down.. But is the pressure feelings a sign she's coming soon?

I knew she was head down when I felt her hiccups in my pelvis.

Lay on your back and put a hand on either side of your waistline and slowly move them both towards the center, pushing down as you go.. When you get so your fingers are a few inches from touching you should feel hardness that is somewhat round like a baby's head if she is down.

I have been having bad pelvic pain and found out today that the little guy is breech

Head down is different to dropped ... Midwife/ scan will tell you position every appointment will say ceph in notes ....Mines been head down since bout 24 weeks which is correct position but not engaged/ dropped and I'm 36+6 but my 3rd so they say may not drop until labour 😁
