Am I over thinking?

Ok so I've been with my bf since May of this year,now might sound so stupid and I could be just over thinking this hole thing but since I've known/been with my bf his never had a passcode/lock on his phone,he isn't a phone/computer type at all has no idea about any of that stuff lol

I've actually asked why don't you have a passcode one time as something happened and his reply was na don't need it ect I'm not worried about needing one or even no how too do it! So anyway that's fine two weeks ago we had a big fight nothing phone related,resulted in him going home and staying at his mums didn't talk for a bit then came back,but a few days ago I needed to used his phone too txt a mutual friend of ours I always ask b4 I'd use it and his never got an issue so that's all fine so I picked up the phone and up came the passcod lock on the phone hmmm i didn't say anything just looked at him out it on the bench continued Wat I was doing he picks it up puts in the code then just said here you go I still said nothing just oh thanks and sent the txt,nothing has been said at all about it since I've sat on it for days!! Plz tell me if I'm over thinking this? Why wouldn't he say something as it's just odd...

And yes i have and always have had a passcode on my phone but he knows it and always has and there's never been an issue about to ever! I just find it weird how now he has one and b4 hand never cared or "new" how too even set up the passcode...

Anyway thank you ladies for reading my rant but ahhh I've kept it in for awhile now xox
