HPV Anyone??

So I'm 32 years old, married 10 years and just had a baby. At my first prenatal visit I was diagnosed with high risk HPV, but had a normal PAP. My doctor did a colposcopy and saw no bad cells. I've always had normal PAPS and never been told I've had HPV...I'm assuming because they don't test until you're 30. Anyways, I just had my 6 week PP check and my HPV still came back positive, I'm still waiting on PAP results. Has anyone else battled high risk HPV? If so, how long was it before you cleared it? I already struggle with anxiety and severe depression so I'm having a hard time with all of this. 😢 Any advice/support would be appreciated!

It was a few years before my first all clear pap. I was diagnosed at 22 or so years old. I think after one year I had a biopsy and later that year a LEEP (the shallower kind - I think the deeper one is called top hat). A couple years later it cleared up, although my understanding is that it could potentially come back at any point in time. I've since delivered a healthy girl with no problems.

I had it. I has yhe leep procedure and then follow up papafora while. They tested me again ablut a tear later and it was cleared.

Diagnosed at my first pap in my pregnancy, I had just had a normal pap 6 months before, recently was retested at my Mirena insertion, came back abnormal again, I go Thursday for a scope. I'm 25, was diagnosed at 24. Side note: SO GLAD I got that HPV vaccine that was supposed to help prevent these strains of HPV. 😒

I have high risk. It was shallow when they tested it. My OB said it should clear up. Still waiting to go to my postpartum appt to find out.

I had a positive HPV "high risk" cervical cancer. Normal cells. I tested 6 months later with a negative and again at 1 yr with another negative. 2 yrs later another negative. Now I'm year 3 negative. Normal PAP.
