Is it safe to do it on your own?

Question

First off im in mexico, second im 32+6 and I think if I make it to 36 weeks that it's safe to have my baby at home, with my first was awful. The doctors did what they wanted and after trying to stop labor at 30 weeks and 2 they induced me at 30 weeks and 4 im terrified of giving birth in a hospital. Im terrified of getting an IV althoigh i agreeded to the heplock but the hospitals here still want an active IV:(. I really think I can do this on my own with the help of a midwife. Am I crazy to think this?

No. If you're low risk, have a competent midwife, and are pretty close to the hospital in case something goes really wrong, it's not very dangerous to deliver at home. Even if you are at a hospital, it takes twenty or thirty minutes to get ready for a c section, so if you live close to the hospital you aren't delaying that by much. You do have to make sure your midwife is well trained and that you can get to the hospital if something goes really wrong, and there are a couple of things which have slightly higher risks at home. But it's pretty safe, and there are some serious dangers to delivering In hospitals, too.

All my kids have been 9lbs. I'm expecting #4 and will be having my second home birth. 
I know plenty of people who have had 9 and 10 lb babies at home. It's not a good reason for a hospital birth. Not to mention that weight predictions before birth are notoriously unreliable. 
For a low risk pregnancy and birth home is a safe option. Best wishes.

My mom had 3 of her kids at home I was one of them and we all turned out fine and if you're low risk then go for it

If you have a midwife at home and are having regular prenatal appointments there's nothing crazy about it. It's only crazy if there's no professional in charge.

It's totally safe to birth at home. I don't doubt you could find someone(s) to support you. 
Are you anywhere near San Miguel de Allende? There is an amazing midwifery school there. It's nationally recognized and totally dynamic and you won't end up being forced to have a c-section.
