Water Birth
I have been considering a natural water birth and I finally found a birth center that takes my insurance and does water birth, my daughter is 6 years old and I had in her the hospital, I was induced and also had the epidural, so this will be a very new experience for me. My sister said there are rules for water births, like if your water breaks before getting to the center/hospital you can't do the water birth or if you get the epidural you can't do a water birth... I don't plan on getting the epidural but I want to have my options open and I don't want to be denied the epidural if I do decide I need it. Also there is a fee for the water birth so I don't want to pay for that if I won't actually be doing the water birth. I really do want my labor to be different this time, although the day I had my daughter was the best day of my life I feel like I didn't really have any say in my daughter's labor. I'm also a lot more cautious on what I put into my body now. Can any of you who have had water births tell me about it and if the rules my sister mentioned were the same where you delivered? Thanks 😊
