Your glow experience after updating
I'd start with I'm not a fan of the down voting. People are down voting topics that have really good potential because they don't agree with what it's saying. Which as those of us who are aware of what CC is, we know that just because we disagree with it doesn't mean it shouldn't exist.
I'd also have to say that I really REALLY dislike the new reporting system. There have been some posts that should not exist due to obscene language/pictures, and once reported the post entirely disappears from your view. Meaning you no longer have the ability to know if glow has actually removed it or not, and because of it being invisible you can't report any further offenses done under the topic.
For example someone posts a picture of a mutilated kid, you report it, you can no longer see anything that has to do with it. So you also can't report any commenters who also say and post obscene things in the comments of the thread. I feel this will, if not already, has lead to people reporting things that need to be, less and less. This goes for replies as well. You engage someone and before you know it you're being called any number of vulgar things so you report it and it vanishes. You're now unable to do anything or send anything to glow because you don't know what else is going on or if you're still being harassed (don't even know if more people than the one replier are doing it).
Also not a fan of how the blocking system is. It defeats the purpose of what controversy corner is. Someone says or claims something, you ask for sources or go against what they say and bam you're blocked. No debate. No back and forth of ideas or anything. Not saying that everyone does this of course. There are quite a few people that are incredibly capable of discussing issues without feeling the need to block someone. I personally feel that the block function would be better if it didn't exist in the first place.
I feel the recent changes have been made so that the glow admin don't have to moderate, or do much of anything, which is what they should have been doing more of to entirely avoid this.
So what are your thoughts and feelings on this new update? Do you like it, do you hate it.
