Home Water Hypnobirth - who else is planning?

Question

Hiya, I'm planning to have a home water hypnobirth. My due date is August 26th. Is anyone else planning to have a home birth?
 I would love to connect with you or to hear from you if you've had or are planning hypnobirth.

It would be great to create a support group to share ideas, books, hypnobirthing tracks, techniques etc!

I want to do the same. I'm from a small county and I have my first appointment today. I was planning on mentioning it to see if I have an option. My husband doesn't want me to go with a midwife he is scared. I on the other hand feel that it would be a more relaxing environment

That sounds great and I can't get my husband to watch I tried he is so scared. He don't even know if he wants to watch my birth. I think he will change he mind he is way to curious :)

Hi Kassie, thanks for your reply. I live in Spain and home births are not very popular here either. My husband was also reluctant to start with, but we wached some hypnobirthing videos on YouTube and that made him see it from a different point of view.

Maybe this is something you can try with your husband?

We are going to do a hypnobirthing class in Barcelona in March, in the meantime I am doing NLP hypnosis using Terry Elston audiobook called "it's time for relaxing childbirth using hypnosis"

Terry is a great narrator and I love listening to his voice. I play this track every evening when i go to sleep and so far I've managed to train my body to start deep and relaxed breathing as soon as I put the track on.

I know the key to hypnobirthing is preparation and training so that's what I'm focused on.
