Anyone test positive for anitbodies in your blood work?

I'm 11wks with my 3rd child and I just got a call from my dr office saying I tested positive for an anti body in my blood. They said its a very low amount but they wanted to let me know because they will be drawing blood every visit. :( of course I went to the Internet and read a bunch of stuff. Anyone else in this situation? I've never dealt with it and honestly am a little scared. My dr said that I shouldn't worry and they will monitor me very closely.

Do you know what type of antibody? Your body has thousands of them. Depending on what type it is totally depends on whether to worry or not as some are good to have (like ones that protect you from the measles for example) and others aren't.

I'm assuming you are rh negative I've done lots of research on this bc I am rh negative from what ie gather you will be monitored closely there's a good chance your levels will stay low but should they get so high they will keep an eye on baby if it looks like baby is being attacked by the anti bodies they will do an intrauterine blood transfusion I've heard these are very successful good luck and try not to stress be sure to talk to your dr about any worries or concerns

I tested positive for the anti-E antibody. Levels were 1:3. We start monitoring the titers in two weeks.
