How long after one stops taking bc can you get pregnant ?

Boyfriend and I are planning to get pregnant around July . I have 2 beautiful children already but he has none ! My daughter is 12 and my son will be 10 . I have been on birth control for about 5 years now and I just want to know if it's going to be very easy and quick to conceive once I stop taking them or will it take a long time ? And when should I stop taking them ? Any and all are welcome to chime in please

If you are praying for twins then the first 3 months off BC apparently give you a better shot at it. As for how long and how difficult it is going to be, who knows. If we had the answer to that question none of us would need this app. Good luck.

I had to stop taking my BC in November because that was my last pack and I had to change GYN because my insurance changed and couldn't get an appointment until December 15,  so I had no bc not was we using any other contraception. 
Needless to say we had A LOT of sex during the months of November and December . I didn't get my period all of November nor did I get it in December so we thought we was pregnant. Test came out negative so did the blood work . And I couldn't take the bc again until my period came again . It didn't come until January 4. And I was bleeding for 2 weeks , more spotting days then anything else . It was a weird time and we was hoping I was pregnant but we are sticking to our plan now to conceive in July . I just hope it doesn't take long

It took me 2 months after I stopped the pill. Everyone is different though!

You never know. Your cycle could come back completely normal. Or it could be messed up for months. It all depends on you. If your starting in July, I would wait until you last period closest to July to stop the BC.
